For the first time since the second world war, U.S. inflation could hit 15% in 2022, as a perfect storm of events creates massive price increases. So says Saxo Bank, in its “outrageous” predictions for the year ahead. But the logic it sets out in its latest report does not seem so far fetched.

Although this article mentions several times that the predictions of this Saxo Bank are "outrageous", it's predictions are still really scary and probably spot on, just maybe not in the time frame they've set. The thought of inflation going up by that much in just a year is almost hard to believe and yet their reasoning for the 15% prediction makes logical sense and could easily happen. It's kind of crazy to think about all the repercussions that could occur if inflation went up by that much especially in just one year and how much our daily lives could be affected by just next year. The thought of another arms race is also terrifying to be a possibility at all, even if it doesn't happen in 2022 or even 2023.
