PLNs enable us as educators to support each other and to learn, which in turn benefits our students. The commonsense.org site gives 3 tips 1) Get connected and follow others 2) Get Inspired - through networking obtain lesson ideas and learn new tools 3) Give back and share with others These align with APST - focus areas 6.2 and 7.4. Through professional development we can improve professional practice.

Depicts exactly what I am exploring at the moment as part of my #H812 studies and MA in Online and Disctance Education. Chosen however not to 'network' Facebook as I tend to use it socially rather than professionally. |
