"20,000 STRONG is the largest, sustained movement In Belize geared towards empowering and celebrating women. It is a renewal of the commitment to women by women. It is a movement with the mission to ignite change in our society; change in how we think about women, change in how we feel about women, change in how we treat women and change in how women see themselves.
20,000 STRONG is a movement that showcases the many roles women play in society; a reminder that 50% of the population cannot be ignored. And so we stand together and we march together! We march in solidarity with each other and our sisters around the world. We march to uplift each other. We march as a show of unity."
