University teaching is a complex task. When we first start to teach, nothing is automatic. Everything has to be carefully thought through. This MOOC introduces new teachers to key learning and teaching concepts and strategies in easily studied, two hour modules - just in time, just for you. Modules cover topics like strategies to teach that first class, giving feedback, facilitating group work, and online teaching. Happy teaching. Via Peter Mellow

While it's a longish course for a MOOC (19 weeks) it has a great reputation. It comes highly recommended for any entering tertiary teaching.
