Professor Geert Hofstede conducted one of the most comprehensive studies of how values in the workplace are influenced by culture. On this site you can check out different scores on five dimensions:
Power Distance (PDI)
Individualism versus collectivism (IDV)
Masculinity versus femininity (MAS)
Uncertainty avoidance (UAI)
Long-term versus short-term orientation (LTO)
Indulgence versus Restraint (IVR)
This is a FANTASTIC tool! It provides and easy to use and understand model of what the values mean in different countries! Wow. I am working on a podcast with Barry Smith this week on the work he did with John Maxwell in Guatemala, so I compared the US and Guatemala and the results are truly informational.
