With the release of OS X Yosemite came the ability to use QuickTime to record the screen of your iPad or iPhone. This is an awesome update as until now you had to purchase additional software to allow for this type of screen capture.

Pretty much a bargain, even if you have to fork out some money for a lightning cable (should you not already have that if you have an iPad?)
